Hi Dom.
I was at your lecture on venture capital at Swinurne tonight (tues 14th). I found it very valuable and informative.
I asked you about how mp3.com.au would compete against free music in facebook and the like… and on my way home I thought of something you may find useful.
I was thinking about how night commercial radio shows (e.g. Nova’s Launchpad and Foxfm’s Hot30) are concentrating so much on an online environment these days (basically anchoring their shows on getting listening to go to their website)… it’s quite a revolution in the radio market. I got to thinking that you tie mp3.com.au in with one of these shows and that could differentiate your business from facebook. For example artists from the mp3.com.au site could be featured on the radio show and drive the business. What are your thoughts?
